Philosophy
Jacob Cohen is a brand specialized in luxury jeans, devoted to comfort and maniacal care for details and fabrics.
The style is informal, with a sartorial taste, an idea which transforms the meaning of the jeans as a cult.
The company was founded by Tato Bardelle in 1985 the creator of Outsider, Americanino and Kinghino.
His son Nicola Bardelle transforms, in 2003, the concept of the jeans, proposing a rich denim, innovative, with unique style and fabric: jeans is not only workwear, but it is also life style, for the denim lovers and for the jeans' neophytes.
The young businessman renews the logo, using the “J” of Jacob Cohen, increasing the fabrics selection, choosing the selvadge denim.
Brand main features are the impeccable stitching, also in the internal part of the trousers, the jewelry buttons and the coloured cavallino leather labels.
Jacob Cohen proposes limited edition trousers, made with Kurabo selvadge denim, cotton and cachemire jeans, produced with excellent yarns and made by a Japanese artisan.
From denim miniskirts to cachemire five pockets.
Sartorial finishes distinguish brand’s items: in the internal part there are chain stitches, buttons and rivets are silver glazed, only legs follows the ”cut and stitch” method and the rest is hemmed.
Even the fabrics are carefully chosen: in addition to the Kurabo Japanese denim, there are cottons mix cachemire, double twisted cottons which lend extra soft fabrics and cotton mix silk.
