Philosophy

Famous French fashion designer Pierre Balmain founded his brand in the last century, designing the elegant style called "Jolie Madame".

Christophe Decarnin is the currently creative director who has revolutionized the original bon-ton allure, assuming that each item has to be comfortable as a pair of denim.

He underlines the importance of evening dresses with his modern and trendy touch.

80’s contaminations and strong contrasts feature the Decarnin designs; pop, grunge and rock mood with couture and casualwear mixes.

The Balmain woman wears t-shirts and torn sweaters, camo blazers with cadet shoulders, embellished with stones and sequins, or tuxedo jackets.

Safari look and "Star Trek" straps dresses, skinny trousers, gold and bronze details, metal-mash, animalier prints, sequins camouflage, studs and ripped jeans are the most important features.

Balmain has recently launched a menswear collection, in perfect harmony with the womenswear, which reflects Decarnin sexy-rock aesthetics, inspired by movies and music: his motto is "Good time for party girl clothes".
