The Gigi is a new Italian menswear brand, launched by Boglioli group.
Mario and Pierluigi Boglioli launched The Gigi during Pitti Uomo in January 2014.
The new brand launches a collection of one hundred items for FW 2014-15, made of fil coupe and jacquard, embroidered jacket, the real icon item for the season.
"Do not look back" is Pierluigi’s motto, Creative Director of The Gigi, which focuses on few markets, such as Italy, Japan and especially Germany, with the aim of winning over a hundred customers with the first sales campaign.
The brand follows a tailoring approach in the apparel production, noble raw materials, but especially on impeccable construction and the high-end manufacture, which are the excellence of Made in Italy.
Collection proposes deconstructed outfits and refined details which are assembled, stretch and finally washed with ad hoc solutions, in order to give a unique lightness to items.
Even the most difficult and precious fabric, such as wool, cashmere or jacquard, in the The Gigi’s labs becomes refined suits, with no equal on the industry.
The Gigi develops refined outfits for bohemian, but chic, men, which escape from aesthetic approval.
