Philosophy
Lanvin is a popular French fashion house, founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1885.
After her training at Madame Fèlix boutique, she opens his successful womenswear company in Paris.
The maison popularity grows up and the designer starts opening shops in Europe.
Offer is extended in the different fashion segments, as menswear which completes the main line for women and girls, underwear and fragrances.
The brand, lead by François Crahay who remains at Lanvin from 1958 to the mid ‘80’s, is awarded with several prizes as the Dè d’Or, won three times.
Lanvin presents unique and precious models, as cocktail black dresses with maxi ruffles which enrich the waist or the décolleté, and dresses characterized by a soft volume, where fabric follows the natural body movement.
Lanvin famous icons are the ribbon-dress, an Alber Elbaz's creation, and the bustier, the popular seduction tool revised by the most exclusive fashion houses, proposed in leather, latex, with micro studs and embroideries, cross-stitch, in a sadomasochism version, studded with Swarovski or precious silks, tulle and impalpable fabrics.
