A. Testoni produces leather footwear, strictly Made in Italy.
Amedeo Testoni opened his first shop in Bologna in 1929 and today the brand follows its traditional philosophy: ancient techniques, a rigorous selection of materials, a constant aesthetic research towards innovative and original solutions, with the aim of a continuous quest for quality.
The secrets of Testoni are mainly in the particular processes used in the production.
First there is the construction, made in Bologna, a process for which the upper is hand-stitched in a particular leather goat lining that holds the foot as a in a glove, ensuring a certain elasticity.
Then there is the “piuma rapid” patent, thanks to which shoes are built, put into shape, deconstructed and the assembled again with a revolutionary procedure; the result is a lightweight shoe, resistant to heat, cold and humidity.
A. Testoni footwear are made of the top quality materials: calf, ostrich, iguana and crocodile leather with a great attention to details, such as the spiral, that is the detail of leather braided around the sole.
It takes two hundred operations required including hemming, assembly and finishing, to make each pair of moccasins, loafers or brogues.
A. Testoni is not only men footwear, but also women; elegant and refined pumps, sandals, flats, loafers, sneakers and boots, perfect for a sophisticated woman.
The brand also produces a leather goods collection, proposing nappa leather bucket bags, clutches and wallets in jeans and calfskin straps.
Leather goods for men are messenger bags, doctor bags and seabags.
