Philosophy
Sansovino 6 is an Italian label of knitwear for men and women, launched in 2003 by the designer Edward Buchan, who has worked at Bottega Veneta and Armani.
The refined and lively collection reveals a contemporary Italian taste, made of the finest materials by craftsmen.
Striking colour palette, bold cuts, inimitable volumes and sophisticated treatments of fine yarns; garments draw inspirations by both the American workwear and military style, in order to propose refined items casualwear, trompe l'oeil and “used” effects, unique patterns and soft draping.
Typical English knitwear, oversize cardigans and sweaters, smooth long dresses, washed denim, jackets and comfortable wool jersey trousers, Aztec coats and vests, t-shirts, lightweight linen pullover, scarves; these are the core products of Sansovino 6.
