Philosophy
Richard Nicoll is a brand of pret-a-porter and accessories, launched in 2005 by the talented British designer, graduated from the prestigious Central Saint Martins School in London.
Before his debut with his own label, the designer has collaborated with important brands such as Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton.
Since its inception, Nicoll has been revealing a particular skill for the tailoring construction of garments and for a sharp shirting.
His collections may be described as fetish, stylish, modern and easy-chic, made of pleated mini-dresses, flannel "checked" items, oversized crepe de chine dresses with printed faces, maxi-skirts, pantsuits, wool twill jacket, printed t-shirts and mutton checkered jackets.
His romantic fashion, futuristic at the same time, called "minimal glamour", is the result of clean lines, fine materials with an emphasis on fluid fabrics, which gently glide on the female body, colour block, 70’s punk-rock style, 40’s echoes Victorian inspirations.
The pink paint leather dresse with ruffled neckline, black leather bustier and the black bouclé dress with lurex details dominate the designer’s wardrobe.
