Philosophy

Car Shoe is a leading brand of footwear and accessories.

The vigevenese craftsman Gianni Mostile founded the company in 1983,combining his passion for racing cars with hand made shoes; he invented a driving mocassin, unstructured and light, with the sole built with small rubber plugs.

Today the brand leads the market with its own personality as icon of style and elegance.

The driving moccasin is still the brand’s core product, proposed in a wide range of colors and leathers; today Car Shoe produces exclusive footwear for men, women, and children, in addition to leather goods.

It stands out in the fashion business for the meticulous care to detail and finishes, leathers choice and high quality materials.

The patented design with tiny rubber plugs won jet-set and celebrities: Gianni Agnelli, JFK, Roberto Rossellini.

In 2001 Prada Group took over the brand, giving it a new fascinating and gritty that today characterizes Car Shoe.

Car Shoe success and growth is the result of a winning strategy that combines quality materials and craftsmanship, also extended to accessories collections.
