Philosophy

Eastpak is a U.S. brand producing handbags, shoulder bags, briefcases, trolleys and accessories for school, sports and work.

Famous for their urban-street backpacks, with a simple and modern design, as well as the robustness and functionality of the products.

The brand was founded by Monte Goldman in 1960, realizing resistant pockets for the U.S. armed forces.

In the wake of the success reached among university students with the first design, in 1976 the company began to produce for civilians, quickly becoming an international lifestyle brand.

In 2006 Eastpak joined a well-known clothing Industrial Group, owner of popular brands such as Wrangler and Lee Jeans.

Eastpack was the first company in the world to produce Cordura backpacks, an extremely robust fabric, providing a thirty-year warranty on its products,  sum up in the brand motto"Built to Resist".

Eastpack was also the first brand to offer bright colors and bold prints on accessories, giving a touch of fashion in its collections.

Today the brand propose five collections: Authentic, Campus Core Series, Urban Action and Christopher Shannon; the latest is produced in collaboration with the British designer, offering ergonomic designs, washable and available in a wide range of sizes and colours.

Creations have rubber handles, organizer pockets, pc cases padded shoulder strap, in addition to a detachable bag, telescopic handles and waterproof coatings.
