Philosophy

Albino is a brand of ready-to-wear, characterized by clean lines, far from excesses.

The brand was founded  in Milan, in 2004, by the Roman designer Albino D'Amato, trained at the great French couturiers, and the Neapolitan architect-designer Gianfranco Fenizia.

The fashion house Albino is characterized by an elegant black heraldic symbol on a white background.

In 2011 debuted in the Milan menswear fashion week with a spring-summer collection.

Since its debut, Albino proposes contemporary sartorial womenswear, that embodies the exclusivity of the made in Italy and the typical Parisian casual elegance.

Albino style is characterized by a game of contrasts, thanks to volumes and asymmetries; oversize garments alternating enveloping structures, trapezoidal silhouette, fabrics, classic colours and intense shades of African sunsets.

Exotic and colonial charm , eclectic deco details and geometric elements are the main elements of a futuristic concept with architectural echoes.

The Fellini's women proposed by Albino, evoke the atmosphere of the Italian 60’s cinema: the meeting of sacred and profane gives rise to severe necklines, small shoulders, in opposition to sensual rips which reveal legs and knee length dresses.

Pleated dresses, coats, blazers, austere mini cape, are made of dense fabrics, Mikado but also lightweight neoprene, technical matte satin, crepe and felted cloth, embellished with tiny patterns , bows, lace, and embroideries with an ecclesiastical mood.
