The brand was founded in 1993, by Filippa Knutsson and Patrik Kihlborg, from the idea to create uncomplicated wearable clothes with a clean design and focus on quality and fit.
1994 marked the launch of Filippa K in Norway and Denmark; its iconic product, the stretch jeans, soon became a renowned success in Scandinavia. By the time the range of products had expanded, following the growing demand on the market.
Combining timeless simplicity with contemporary edge and subtle materials, Filippa K focuses at essential pieces to build a full range of long lasting and high quality fashion garments, shoes, bags and accessories for stylish and quality conscious men and women identifying themselves with the brand philosophy.
Today the brand has a strong position in Europe, is represented in 20 markets around the world through 50 brand stores and more than 600 retailers.
