Philosophy
The designer Paolo Rossello launched in the 80’s the apparel brand P.a.r.o.s.h, recreating second-hand garments and customizing them.
“Customizé” is an evolution of vintage, of which the designer Rossello is the precursor; he mixes rare elements, famous griffes, military clothing and memories, in order to obtain different collections from second-hand clothes.
That is the reason of the acronym: "Paolo Rossello Second Hand".
Precious fabrics reflect a vintage-ethnic style, offering a wardrobe that goes beyond the seasonal production, where irony, colour and creativity play freely and characterize the production.
Ermine, silk and fox tails are transformed and re-proposed, dyed cashmere garments, printed camouflage sweaters with matte sequins.
U.S. navy coats, embellished with beads, become small sweaters, 50’s scarves turn into blouses and East fabric stripes enrich coats and dresses.
