Philosophy
Pigalle is a French sportswear and streetwear line for men founded in 2011 by Stéphane Ashpool, the owner of the namesake multi-brand boutique in Paris.
Son of an artist and a Yugoslav ballet dancer, Ashpool entered the fashion world inspired by the street where he grew up, around the beyond-vibrant melting pot of the 18th arrondissement area that named his brand after.
His menswear includes signature hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts and bombers, a mix of different influences, balancing traditional tailoring aesthetic and an artisanal approach with the right amount of street credibility.
Inspired by his love of basketball, in 2014 Pigalle have teamed up with Nike to create a unique and artful take on some of the sportswear giant’s most iconic silhouettes, the Air Force 1.
The brand has attracetd the attention not only in paris but around the world, and has gained a loyal following such as american rapper A$AP Rocky.
