Philosophy
Alexander Olch is a high-end men’s accessories line, including ties, pochettes, scarves and belts.
New York native film-maker and designer Alexander Olch started making ties while he was at Harvard University.
In 2002 he launched his eponymous brand, specialized in luxurious, handmade ties cut from unusual fabrics, including seersucker and cashmere.
Previously available only at upscale retailers such as Barneys and Bergdorf Goodman, Olch in 2013 opened a flagship store in Orchard Street, NY, for his sophisticated line.
Balancing old world craftsmanship with the freshness and style of modern day New York City, Olch creates refined pieces with an unexpected assortment of natural meterials, like silk, cotton or English. All of his pieces are made in New York City by hand.
Olch's signature combination of Old World craftsmanship and distinctly modern style is still going strong.
