Claire Barrow is a fashion label famous for the hand-painted unisex leather designs inspired by a DIY punk aesthetic.
The creative artist Claire Barrow trained in fashion at the University of Westminster and during her time there began to hand-paint leather jackets using acrylic paints.
Shortly afterwards pop sensation Rihanna commissioned Claire to make bespoke painted jackets for her Talk That Talk tour and album.
In Autumn 2013 Claire collaborated with luxury retailer Matchesfashion.com on a sell-out limited edition capsule range of leather bikers and bags adorned with her original illustrations.
Her ready-to-wear collections now encompass a full wardrobe of illustrated garments, showcasing Claire's world where fashion and artistic expression collides and challenges each other.
Her unique aesthetic has won her a legion of fans from Vogue’s Francesca Burns to Rihanna, and plaudits from Vogue, Dazed & Confused, Grazia, i-D and The Independent.
