Jean-Baptiste Rautureau is a line of fashionable men’s shoes characterized by its eclectic mix of innovative design, perfect detail and superb leather.
Established in 1870, the Rautureau family have been creating high quality footwear in La Gaubretière, west of France, for over a hundred years. Yvon and Guy Rautereau are the fourth generation of a family of cobblers who still keep alive the tradition of the bootmakers.
Unashamedly modern, Jean-Baptiste Rautureau continues to produce collections of top of the range shoes both elegant and urbaine with the Goodyear technique, inspired by city lifestyle, by music and film: from the most elegant brogues to flashy trainers or rock ‘n’ roll biker boots.
Together with the other company's brands, the feminine line Free Lance and the more casual and inexpensive Schmoove, Jean-Baptiste Rautureau is perfect for the more discerning urban dandies.
Its rock soul gained the attention of Paris, Switzerland, Denmark and Russia.
