Philosophy
Manurina is an Italian brand, specializing in bags and accessories for women.
The Creative Director Manuela Rinaldi, after graduating in Fashion Design at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, starts her internship at Costume National, working in the style department.
Since 2006, the young designer has experienced several job opportunities in fashion industry, which help her toward the fulfillment of her dream, her own brand.
Manuela is also worked at Trussardi and Dolce & Gabbana, developing strong creative propensity for product, which is essential for collections’ development.
After her internships, Rinaldi comes back to accessories, her first love, accepting an important role in the accessory department of Elisabetta Franchi.
In 2012, Manuela founded Manurina; the name is a creative fusion of first and last name.
Manurina mixes traditional values such as craftsmanship and high-end materials, in order to develop simple a simple and plain style.
In the debut collection, Rinaldi chose calf leather, lamè and silk, available in all the trendy colors, such as fuchsia, neon yellow, powder pink, emerald green and black.
The collections’ fil rouge are the wrought gold studs on the front, which confer an original and unique idea, different from the ordinary studs.
The entire collection has a young and glamorous taste, aiming at a young target; accessories are versatile for the most demanding customers, which can change and play with the different shapes, ranging from clutch to shopping bag or shoulder bags with gold chains.
Although her pieces are full of strong color combinations, Manuela is a fan of simplicity: designs are simple and chic but they play in perfect harmony with unconventional elements and colors.
The brand's mission focuses on beautiful but practical creations; not surprisingly, collections proposes big bag and clutch, inspired by the world of Mondrian with a couture twist.
In this sophisticated abstract art, geometries, shapes and colors have a perfect balance, in order to propose sophisticated but easy combinations, a versatile mix in womens’ wardrobes.
