Philosophy

The Italian-Spanish fashion designer Gaetano Navarra creates menswear and womenswear, proposing an  multi-faceted and innovative concept of elegance and style, mixing tradition and avant-garde style.

Gaetano, started working at the family business, afterwards, in 1986, he launched his own label, debuting on the catwalks of Milan Fashion Week, with a ready-to-wear knitwear.

In 1992 he began working at Genny group and has been part of the creative team for eight years.

In 1996 he became style consultant at the Italian footwear brand, Bruno Magli, and in 2001 he started the collaboration with Les Copains, for which draws the collections “Blue” and “Jeans”.

He made his debut on the Milan catwalks in 2007, also opening to the international markets; the brand offers a luxury lifestyle statement, authentic and strictly made in Italy.

Gaetano Navarra proposes an original attitude, solid, and yet full of poetry and charm.

Sinuous forms and colours recall the shades of night; he dresses woman, inspired by the glorious fashion eras, when the business was considered a real luxury, proposing provocative and bold silhouettes.

The brand seeks to re-establish a “new luxury era”, reinterpreting a deluxe  attitude, often in too exaggerated; new productive technologies become the focus of glamour, proposing chic and exciting collections.

Fabrics are laminated and laser cut, while the leathers become real protagonist of knitwear, blouses or lightweight silk crepe.

The fur, however, is painted in the shades of purple, embroidered down jackets are characterized by a dark colours palette, opulent and baroque.

The gold bounces between the green bottle of the garments, embellishing boucle coats; however, the contrasts between shiny and matte play a predominant role, among the black super elaborate prints, with Decò echoes.

Navarra, inspired by the 80’s, proposes hundred of designs with printed fabrics and hi-tech details, as neoprene; charming and casual-fashion collections aim at a younger target.
