Philosophy

Dries Van Noten is a ready-to-wear line for men and women.

The Belgian designer was defined by NY Times as one of the most cerebral designer of the Fashion industry.

Van Noten is the heir of an ancient tailoring tradition and after his studies, he founded his own brand in 1985.

He made his debut in London with his contemporary and multi-ethnic collections.

Ethnic melting pot define his charming, elegant and something posh style, characterized by colours, original fabrics and high-tech materials.

Multi layers items dominate in Van Noten lines with Middle Eastern caftans, floral embroideries, overchecked "old school" fabrics, rich leathers, exotic reptiles, animalier prints in contrast with monochromatic fabric patches.

Fashion experiments, fabric layers, fit research, feature eccentric and aristocrats Dries Van Noten collections, mixing formal dresses, classic silhouette, knitted kimono, wallpaper prints and distorted geometries, "Tokyo meets Calcutta" in a great journey, discovering Far East.
