Max Mara

Philosophy

Max Mara company was born in Reggio Emilia in 1951, founded by Achille Maramotti.

It is one of the Made in Italy leader brand in womenswear.

Collections are famous for its plain lines, clean cuts, precious fabrics which characterized a modern chic and sophisticated woman.

Since XIX century Maramotti family owned a luxury tailor workshop and Achille became a women's ready-to-wear pioneer in Italy, when Haute Couture reigned in our country.

Max Mara joins prêt-à-porter and Parisian Haute Couture exclusivity, with polished and elegant proposals, fabrics and cuts, for the woman manager and for a cocktail and gala events.

Composition of outfits are very detailed, modern and contemporary, updated according to fashion diktat.

But Max Mara never forgets its philosophy and its aesthetic identity.

Brand strength is tailoring tradition; wearing a various target, it reaches different audience segments, reinventing itself several times according to fashion changes.

Max Mara has also created a line of bridal dresses: sober style, richness, elegance and perfect tailoring.
