Philosophy

Dsquared, as known as D2, is a young and trendy fashion brand of menswear, womenswear and accessories.

It was born in 1995 as a typical expression of street world, unconventional and eccentric design.

Its name means “D squared" as its two founders, designers and brothers Dean and Den Caten: Caten twins complete design studies in New York and leave USA in 1992 to improve their fashion technique in Milan.

Dsquared is an innovative brand because it joins together fashion and art, proposing exuberant colours, patterns and looks, absolutely unconventional, to conquer the scene.

This fashion brand has created a wide range of items, total looks, teenagers’ status symbol, from shoes to clothes, from scarves to hats, belts, underwear, from loafers to sneakers.

Womenswear was born in 2003.

The brand garments are inspired by the North American style, casual and easy, and they are worn by international celebrities.

Caten twins have been awarded with the Golden Needle in 2006, previously won by icon fashion designer as Gianni Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano and Oscar de la Renta.
