Harris Wharf London is a contemporary outerwear brand infused with London sensibilities that gives a new appeal to classic formalwear.
Located in London but produced in Turin, in the north of Italy, Harris Wharf London is a family business run by two siblings: Aldo Acchiardi, who oversees production and distribution, and Giulia Acchiardi, the designer.
Together they decided to keep alive the family tradition using their grandfather’s glove-making factory in Turin where all Harris Wharf collections are produced, made from only Italian fabrics.
Sophisticated tailored coats and blazers come in a variety of felted wools and cashmeres, available in a wide range of muted and bright colours.
All of the brands outerwear features raw edges and are unlined to give them a youthful touch on traditional tailoring.
In 2009, the Acchiardi’s opened their first store, WORKSHOP in 19 Camden Passage with the launch of their first Harris Wharf London collection for Autumn/Winter 2010.
Since 2009 the brand has been picked up by concept & department stores around the world such as Dover Street Market, Barneys or Saks Fifth Avenue amongst others.
Harris Wharf London recently opened its second Workshop store on 295 Westbourne Grove, in Notting Hill.
