Yoshi Funabashi

Philosophy

Yoshi Funabashi is a clothing brand specializing in outerwear for men and for women.

The designer was born in Nagasaki, Japan, and he began his career working as a freelancer in fashion design.

He made his debut in 2003 with his own label although, since 1992, he has been creating apparel with the brand Studio Ypsilon, featuring Italian taste and style.

The brand is characterized by a casual but formal style and it reinterprets the classic apparel: quality and raw materials,  special processes and hand-finishes are combined with cuts and deconstructed silhouettes.

Basic designs and sophisticated taste characterize comfortable jackets, vests and soft coats.

Colours for summer garments are bright, as red and pink, and more sober for the winter, such as gray and blue, suitable for any outfit, thanks to its modern and simple designs.

The “made to measure” service has its target markets in Italy and Japan.
