Philosophy

White Mountaineering is a Japanese clothing "outdoor" brand dedicated to contemporary man who loves a simple style, full of verve and hi-tech innovation, far from the fashion’s excesses.

Yosuke Aizawa, formerly at Comme des Garcons, founded the brand in 2006; the designer is inextricably linked to the theme of the mountain, as the brand’s name reveals, and each season he develops collections with originality, great skills, vibrant colour, patterns, patchworks and technical fabrics.

With a special focus on experimentation and technological research, Aizawa creates functional collections with an imaginative and cosmopolitan spirit, designed for sports and outdoor life, combining mountaineering garments, street style and workwear. 

White Mountaneering proposes jackets, waterproof Gore-Tex coats, dresses, shirts suitable for low altitudes, up to the matching accessories including hats, colourful wool socks, snow boots.

The brand has recently collaborated with Porter and Timberland, proposing footwear and accessories collections, with an extreme attention to colour combinations, materials, according to the original brand’s designs.
