A story made up of people but also of challenges, passion, dedication to work and a strong attachment to the territory.
It is the story of Henderson and the intuition of Giuseppe Baracco who in 1932, brought together in a room three or four craftsmen able to create two pairs of shoes a day entirely by hand.
From here, from a small laboratory in the Padua area, started a path that has lasted for almost 90 years. Today the company is led by Gianluigi and Enrico, sons of Gino, Giuseppe's grandchildren and third generation of the family, constantly engaged in research of absolute excellence.
In fact, each shoe contains all the invaluable value of the Italian artisan tradition.
The quality of the materials and the meticulous attention to detail make Henderson shoes sophisticated creations with an authentic and innovative soul.
A long and careful process in which stylistic choices and technological innovation are balanced in order to create a creative and high-quality product.
From raw leather to a shoe, the journey lasts four weeks during which every moment of the creative act is monitored: from the choice of raw materials to the first sketches on paper, to the cutting of the leather to the creation of the shape, up to the final finishing stages and polishing.
No passage is left to chance, everything contributes to the creation of an inimitable, unique and above all comfortable product: from the milling of the soles to the coloring and brushing of the shoe, up to the polishing of the uppers.
Also distinguished by the blake sewing process, a traditional, complex and laborious process that involves stitching the sole directly to the leather upper and a distinctive sign of quality and sartorial luxury, Henderson shoes can boast superior durability and flexibility.
Today as yesterday, Henderson is synonymous with discreet luxury shoes, hand made and always in line with the evolution of fashion.
