Elie Saab offers pret-a-porter, haute couture and bridal wear; the Lebanese-Parisian designer founded the first Haute Couture atelier in Beirut, his hometown in 1982,
In 1998 he made his debut with the ready-to-wear collection, entirely Made in Italy, creating his first brand’s extension.
The couturier loved by queens, Hollywood celebrities and the Manhattan jet-set , creates evening gowns which gracefully enhance the women silhouette.
From Rome to Paris, Saab shows his collections on the most important catwalks his couture mermaid dresses, for formal occasions and, also, sumptuous bridal models.
Usually inspired by the East glitz, Elie Saab has recently simplified his style, creating dry lines and more subdued colours; he focuses on the harmonic distribution of decorative elements which come from the avant-garde painting, the Renaissance style, the 70’s the glamour o and the latest fabric treatments, as the small three-dimensional manufacturing of petals.
Spectacular dresses with train or petticoat, puffy skirts, business suits, cocktail knee dresses, mini-dresses and elegant outfit.
Saab enriches his creations with airbrushed floral prints, deep slits, precious embroideries, weaves, organza and voile layers, rhinestones, sequins and crystals which give silver reflections, rich fabrics and fluid silhouettes.
