Philosophy
The American designer Zac Posen creates prêt-a-porter and accessories for women; the designer was born in Soho and attended the Central Saint Martins, London.
At the age of twenty one years old he made his debut, presenting his collection in a former synagogue on the Lower East Side.
Acclaimed by international critics and loved by celebrities, the talented designer is a new rising star in the fashion business.
Zac Posen prefers simple and tailoring designs, inspired by the 40’s; long evening gowns with wide necklines and bias cuts, pleated dresses, pant suits, sweaters, tops, full-skirt bustier.
Strong colours dominate the proposals while, as regards patterns, the designer focus on tartan and floral, without forgetting delicate shades such as cream, hazelnut, white, sky and lilac.
Posen prefers high waisted trousers and skirt, enhancing a more feminine silhouette thanks to high wedges and sandals.
