Philosophy
The emerging Leitmotiv brand proposes clothing and bags for women; the creative duo, the Colombian Juan Caro and the Italian Fabio Sasso, presented in 2006 the first collection, full of sartorial and sculptural “mise”.
Thousands of shades brighten draped dresses, wrapping suits, duchesse silk coats, blazers, skirts, trousers, leggings, even hats and scarves.
Baroque frames, “black & white” kaleidoscopic patterns, Gothic pinnacles; surreal prints seem to be sometimes bold brushstrokes or light hand sketches driven by memory and desire, in order to experiment new styles and designs.
The Leitmotif journey through art and time, with an irony twist, help the two designers to create collections for an adult “Alice in Wonderland”, more refined and always adorned with glamorous accessories such as doctor bags with the funny snail and PVC hi-tech bracelets.
