Philosophy
The Thai-American fashion designer, Thakoon Panichgul launched Thakoon in 2004; the brand, New York based, offers chic and casual prêt-a-porter, for stylish women, sophisticated casualwear with modern designs.
The Asian origin designer has immediately showed a particular talent for intricate details, a passion for delicate and floating organza, linen and silk dresses, as well as a recognizable spirit that distinguishes its collections.
The designer, loved by Michelle Obama and American celebrities, has collaborated with popular brands such as Nine West and Hogan.
Double-breasted coats, jackets enriched with metal inserts, fringed cardigan, "cocoon" dresses with floral and geometric designs, draped dresses, tunics, soft sheath dresses, tops with macro colorful prints, which seem impressive brushstrokes, asymmetric meshes, ninja pants, pencil skirts and tight trousers like a second skin; these are some of the main proposals of the brand.
