Philosophy

MSGM is men and womenswear line founded by its creative director Massimo Giorgetti and produced by Gruppo Paoloni.

It starts in 2009 with a men line and women capsule collection which arouse audience enthusiasm for its trendy and coloured style and for the modern and refined fabrics, raw cuts, enriched with prints and characterized by used effects, ruffles and embroideries.

MSGM label is a top brand but it is available in many shops, erasing the idea of too expensive Made in Italy.

Its target is the “over 25”, preppy style and quality manufacture lovers.

Creative director Massimo Giorgetti develops polished dressed up collection with a great attention to details and quality couture fabrics, making them younger with fluo colours and modern cut and lines.

Music and movies are the main inspiration themes, but also literature, web, art and fashion itself.

Everything is mixed with a touch of irony.

The apparently plain wardrobe is enriched with lace, furs and bouclé, with short denim dresses, waxed laced tops, from caps to dolly-style high waist knit dresses, with leather belts.

From ankle high heels boots, “wayfarer” sunglasses which give a rebellious look, to the canvas sleeveless jackets with fur details, for a urban chic “little squaw”.

Random fluo brush strokes, pop patterns, lonely wolves and checks find their harmony on one shoulder dresses, comfy jersey t-shirt, oversize cotton shirts and stretch mini dresses, Parka sweaters, pulls, flannel jackets, fur capes, basic shirts, leather jackets and plush, show a fresh and bold temper joined together to a more classical and sophisticated style.
