Philosophy

The ready-to wear brand Thom Browne is dedicated to a classic and elegant young man; modern, self-confident, open minded with charming attitude and a dandyism twist.

The brand was founded by the homonymous fashion designer in New York, ten years ago, known as the “King of men's style” who debuted in 2001 with his menswear collection.

The aesthetics of the brand revolves around the new “geek-chic” style, aka the evolution of the “nerd”.

The modern gentleman wears a typical 60’s American style, creating trends rather than follow them.

He loves hand-made dress in sober colors, with a richly detailed retro style and refined and ironic  inspirations.

Grey suits, blazers and vests are the "must" collections, but also button-down white shirts, formal ankle jeans, worn without socks and very long ties matched with the whole outfit.

Patterns are rhombus, argyle pattern, checks and stripes.

The unusual proportions of blazers presents revers and narrow shoulders and handsewn buttonhole, as well as for the trosusers characterized by oscillating crotch.

The brand revisits the legendary "codpiece", worn by Henry VIII, and creates particular fur capes.
