Sebago

Philosophy

Sebago è un brand americano che produce scarpe tecniche da vela per uomo e donna, realizzate rigorosamente con la suola in gomma antiscivolo, cuciture a mano, occhielli in ottone resistenti alla salsedine, lacci in cuoio e tomaia in pellami selezionati.

Il marchio, nato nel 1946 come produttore di calzature per i marinai, viene fondato da tre nativi del New England: Daniel J. Wellehan, Sr. William Beaudoin e Joseph Cordeau. Negli anni Sebago ha equipaggiato diversi team di regate importanti e nel 1992 è stato sponsor ufficiale della Coppa America.

Le collezioni presentano scarpe sportive confortevoli e resistenti, dotate di suola memory e antimicrobica, create appositamente per gli amanti della nautica, ma portabili anche in città.

Il mocassino da barca "docksides", modello iconico del brand, torna in auge come must-have del guardaroba contemporaneo: fabbricato in nabuk con allacciatura regolabile in cuoio trattato e rieditato anche in versione "street" proposto in vernice lucida, declinato nei toni del giallo e nero.
