Philosophy
Damir Doma is a fashion clothing and accessories brand for men and women, created by the homonimous young Croatian designer, grew up in Germany.
Damir began his career working for Raf Simons and Dirk Schönberger; he created his label in 2006 debuting with the men's collection.
In 2009, he presents the collection "Silent" and two years later made his debut in womenswear.
Damir Doma was inspired by nature, spirituality and the modern artists Gottfried Helnwein, Joseph Beuys and Gerhard Richter, creating an emotional and reflective aesthetic, made of graceful draperies and overlays, cuts, lines which refer to the Oriental style, using pure fabrics, where blacks, grays, reds and whites create unexpected suggestions.
The fluid and essential fashion is revealed in the simple collections, with a melancholic and a thin transgression, associated with exploration and interpretation of modern masculinity.
Cashmere coat, oversized clothes with Tibetan echoes, jackets and rigid tops, minimal boots, bags and leather sneakers; his total look mixes light and transparent fabrics in solid materials, looking for a perfect balance of delicacy and rough authenticity.
