Dorothee Schumacher studied textiles in Italy and France and she worked at various luxurious fashion maisons before she launched her own fashion label in 1989, becoming a well-respected designer among the fashion world.
She firmly believes that the strength of women lies in their femininity. This message was expressed in her first collection in the 80's and is still visible in all her designs today: deliate, chic dresses, blouses and blazers made of luxurious materials and fine details lie at the heart of her ready-to-wear collections.
Dorothee Schumacher is perfect for cosmopolitan but nevertheless feminine, easy to wear, women who live passionately.
The designer launches also accessories, shoes, bags and an elaborate jewellery collection availables in flagship stores and shops in over 45 countries spanning across five continents.
