Philosophy
The Italian fashion designer Georgiana Zappieri founded in 2005 Normaluisa, an easy-chic clothing brand for feminine and refined women.
The brand has also introduced a collection of colourful recyclable plastic flats, the Glue Cinderella collection, in partnership with Kartell.
The name of the brand originates from the the inseparable pair formed by the Georgiana's paternal grandmother "Norma" and her sister "Luisa".
Normaluisa presents cocktail dresses, flowing tunics, elegant one-shoulder dresses with "trompe l'oeil" effects, made of light pleated fabrics such as suede, stretch cottons, ethereal silks, velvet, nylon and mesh bouclé.
With strong references to the bon-ton the style and the travel, the Normaluisa fashion code was born under the sign of creativity and freedom, characterized by floral designs and re-edited batik prints, embroidery, bright exotic colours, draping, volumes which caress the female body, garments which seem moved by a gentle breeze.
