Philosophy
Mulberry is a luxury accessories brand for men and women, founded by Roger Saul and his mother in 1971 in Somerset, England.
Brand collections mix together cool city fashion and countryside craftsmanship joining city fashion "coolness” and countryside craft.
They were presented for the first time in the London fashion store "Biba".
According to the official brand’s bio, Roger chose the name of the brand when he designed its first models under a mulberry tree, giving life to the company, a real symbol of English style.
Mulberry produces bags, clutches, wallets, luggage, travel bags, poacher bags, leather diaries, belts, shoes, jewellery, dogs jackets and womenswear: dresses, tops, shirts, jackets, skirts, pants and shorts.
Two of the iconic Mulberry leather bags are "Bayswater", with the cross catch and silver feet and hidden expansion and "Roxanne" plain and elegant soft leather bag with brass studs and buckles.
Since 2008 Emma Hill is the creative director of the brand.
The designer worked for important accessories lines at Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Gap.
