Philosophy
Roy Halston Frowick, born in Des Moines, created the fashion brand Halston in the swirling 70’s; the brand is famous for its super feminine collections, characterized by simplified "T" forms.
He began his career as a fashion assistant in Chicago, then moved to New York, he opened his own atelier in '68, he creates evening dresses with deep necklines, capes, knitwear, jersey flared trousers.
The designer, habitué of the famous club Studio 54, uses chiffon proposed in a wide range of colors and also suede and jersey; he revisits the cashmere twin sets and proposes the caftans in womenswear.
Today the brand offers crepe wool or cashmere mini dresses, floating evening gowns, glamorous and precious bags and clutches, python and studded "thigh-high boots".
