Dieter Kuckelkorn is a German hadcrafted footwear brand for men and women that offers equally comfortable and timelessly leather shoes striving for highest quality and longevity, excellent example of quality generated by fine traditional craftsmanship.
Born in Aachen and emigrated to Spain when he was a child, designer and founder Dieter Kuckelkorn returned to his home country in his early twenties, determined to create unique and refined footwear; he launched his first shoe collection in 1975 and, ever since, he has dedicated his life to constantly improving his shoes.
Focusing on perfect fit, durability and comfort, a pair of Dieter Kuckelkorn shoes sees the light after a period of up to eight weeks, through a long series of production stages that require meticulous precision for the smallest details.
The company is located in the Spanish La Mancha region, and the 22 skilled employees work with exclusively hand-selected leather sourced from the world’s best tanneries, avoiding any mechanical manufacturing.
A great amount of experience, patience and above all passion are necessary to turn a shoe into an aesthetic work of art that does not follow current fashion trends and devoid of superfluous decoration.
