Philosophy
Eatable of Many Orders is a japanese womenswear and accessories brand, artistic combination of interior design, literature, food and fashion.
The japanese husband-and-wife creative duo, Koji and Yoko Arai, established their innovative and avant garde label in 2007, starting with a collection of handmade leather handbags called the "hanger bag"; the following year, a small collection of clothing called "Eatable of Many Orders" was released.
The collection focuses on the concept of "Eatable," a metaphor for treating products like food and paying careful attention to the "ingredients": selected fabrics are made only with natural fibers, and leathers are all vegetable tannin leather hand-dyed with plant dye.
Designers Yoko and Koji Arai harmoniously blend function, beauty, and timelessness in their fine quality clothing and accessories line, offering colorful, ladylike, well-crafted, and one-of-a-kind products made completely by hand following old Japanese techniques in their studio in Atami, Japan.
