Philosophy

Hackett is a famous British menswear brand, founded by Jeremy Hackett and Ashley Lloyd-Jennings in the mid-80’s.

The creative duo met each other at Portobello Market and then they decided to open a store in New Kings.

The shop was considered in the 70’s and 80’s as one of the best second hand store.

Thanks to this great success Jeremy and Ashley develop their own English-inspired  garments and accessories collection.

Hackett shops were specialized in shirts, ties and accessories, and they opened a barber too.

Store popularity increased the Hackett Cross quarter fame.

In 1994 an important company took over the brand, placing it in the luxury goods market.

Hackett also produces sportswear; in 1987 was the first brand associated to polo game that, thanks to Guards Polo Team, starting the polo shirts production.
