Aquilano Rimondi is a luxury brand of made in Italy clothing, specializing in knitwear for women.
The designers Tommaso Aquilano, from Puglia, and Roberto Rimondi, from Bologna, launched the brand in 1988.
The fashion duo, former designers at Malo and current creative directors at Gianfranco Ferrè, create total look for women with couture traits.
Aquilano Rimondi collections present an innovative design, a perfect balance between aggressive spirit and classic fashion; leather pencil skirt, structured jackets, strapless dresses built as a modern architectures, “à boule” skirts.
The squeezed waist restores the proportions between sinuous shapes, wide hips and shoulders.
The brand revisited the classic LBD with ruffles, asymmetrical lines, pleated fabrics.
The designers highlight the importance of jewellery, dark shades, but also vivid colours such as bright red, white, purple, with traces of gold.
