Tamara Mellon is a luxury lifestyle brand that offers a full range of ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories and handbags for sensual, glamorous, sophisticated and confident women.
Designer and founder Tamara Mellon is best known as the Founder of Jimmy Choo. She was its Chief Creative Officer from its inception in 1996 through to its acquisition by new owners in late 2011.
In 2013, Mellon announced the creation of her eponymous brand, launched in November with a select group of premiere retail partners in the United States and Europe.
The aim of her brand is to challenge the sillier aspects of the current fashion system by delivering small capsule collections of clothes to stores every month, in the relevant season: most of her pieces are seasonless, but her real goal is to ensure the clothes that she’s selling in store match the weather outside.
Tamara Mellon offers modern versatile essentials such as super-slick leather pencil skirts, leopard-print boots and sexy silk shirts worn slightly oversized, blending togheter classic staples and modern style with an edge.
Her collections are complement one another, encouraging women to build a well-rounded wardrobe of beautifully constructed garments.
