Simeon Farrar is a London-based total-look and accessories brand for men and women that exemplifies the notion of ‘wearable art’.
Simeon Farrar is a designer who trained in Fine Art and has been a successful painter for the last 10 years.
Drawing inspiration from urban life, art, hip hop, jazz and poetry, he has been able to create his own aesthetics as basis of his clothes: each collection starts from a philosophical root and the drawings and designs grow from there to find their way onto the finished garments.
The fine-artist turned designer has a distinctive flair for blending street style with unexpected luxury from sequins to fringing and the use of silky organic textiles.
His one-of-a-kind illustrated creations include oversized t-shirts, tank tops, layered dresses, canvas shopping bags, umbrellas and scarves.
All the garments are hand finished or dyed and quite often the prints are washed before they have time to dry and so rinse away into the fabric, for a truly artisanal finish.
Simeon Farrar has won the New Generation Award at London Fashion Week three times.
