Philosophy
Tellason is a San Francisco-based denim jeans, jackets and shirts brand for men founded in 2008 by friends Pete Searson and Tony Patella, with the same affinity for all things well crafted and authentic.
After working in the apparel industry for 20 years, they both felt it was time to take things into their own hands and to make something of their own, that represents the american spirit and its know-how.
Everything about their denim is made in America: the fabrics are all produced by the Cone Mill's White Oak plant in Greensboro, North Carolina; the denims are proudly sewn in the city that made American denim famous, San Francisco, California. Even the leather patch is made by Tanner Goods of Portland, Oregon.
They draw inspiration from Californian lifestyle, skateboarding and punk music and focus their attention on high-quality basics, devoid of frills and embellishments: garments are made with raw or "dry" denim that has not been wet processed or manipulated in any way prior to purchase. By leaving the fabric in its original state, it is the wearer that determines the aging characteristics of their jeans.
The brand is distributed in the best specialty shops worldwide.
