Philosophy
Repossi is an Italian high jewelry brand that offers innovative creations with sculptural shapes, influenced by modern and contemporary sculpture and architecture.
The story of Repossi starts in Turin, where it was founded in 1920 by Costantino Repossi and, since then, it has unceasingly continued its tradition of fine jewellery within family creatives talented drawers and designers from father to son and later, father to daughter.
After studying painting at the Beaux Arts of Paris and a master’s degree in archeology, in 2007 Gaïa Repossi, great-granddaughter of the founder, took over the house as Artistic Director, marking the beginning of a new era with more accessible and modern models.
Her references come from her passion for contemporary art and the effects of metal within modern sculpture, blending and pushing the boundaries between architecture and traditional high jewelry techniques.
Drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau, Brutalist, Minimalist and Bauhaus movements as well as the ethnicity of African tribes, her designs are characterized by modern, minimalist motifs and the innovative use of complex patterns on pink, gold and black gold.
The collections are now sold worldwide, giving a new impulse to a new generation in search of change and tradition at the same time.
