Repetto

Philosophy

Repetto was born in Paris at rue de la Paix in 1947.

Rose Repetto, the brand founder, follows Roland Petit advice, the famous dancer and choreographer, and she created first pointe shoes, capturing the interest of the modern and classic ballet world.

Repetto is popular for its original purl stitching, and it conquers international fame realizing a light and sexy flat for Brigitte Bardot in the 1956 movie “And God created woman”.

Ballet is Repetto raison d'être creating professional dancers and amateurs garments and also a comfortable and colourful footwear collection for leisure time.

Repetto produces the legendary flat, enriched with glitter and satin ribbons, and also suede and vernis brogues, soft over the knee boots, ankle boots and pumps.

Repetto designs follow typically French, 80’s, romantic or vintage style and they are available in several colours such as red, raspberry, fuchsia, black, purple, yellow, cognac, classic shades and bright tones.
