Rabens Saloner is a Copenhagen-based women's total-look clothing brand, a cross between flair for wearable fashion and a genuine love for traditional Asian craftsmanship.
The brand has been established in 2007 by designer and founder Birgitte Raben Olrik, an adventurous, creative and a traveller at heart who entered the fashion world as an entrepreneur with a great deal of experience as a competent purchaser for Apair and Flying A, two of Copenhagen’s most successful fashion shops.
Most of the collections she creates are inspired by her many journeys to exotic and hidden places in the East, as she strives to find small local artisans to help bring her collections to life.
Driven by her love for things that are made by hand and artisanal traditions, she visits a hotchpotch of workrooms and family businesses in all corners of Asia, to promote sustainability in the countries of origin.
The laidback, yet stylish aesthetic is represented by its gorgeous textures, misty colours and luxurious handmade and hand-dyed fabrics that blend easy-going bohemian styles with sleek resort wear fashion.
Rabens Saloner is perfect for women that dress for themselves and create their own identity with a strong sense of personality.
The brand has already appealed to fashion-conscious women in Australia, Germany, England, France, Italy and Sweden.
