Diane Von Furstenberg

Philosophy

The designer Diane Von Furstenberg launched her clothing collection in 1972, well-known for her iconic garment as the printed “wrap dress”.

Diane Von Furstenberg creates for a modern woman, bright and exotic, a new traveller with a bohemian charm; her inspirations come from the mysterious and ancient cultural sites, such as Egypt and the desert.

Mixes, animal prints, tribal fringes are proposed with rich and elegant fabrics such as chiffon, silk and sequins, worn on fluid and seductive dresses.

Diane Von Furstenberg has recently launched a capsule limited edition inspired by patterns, colours and atmosphere of the legendary comics Wonder Woman.

Her designs are exhibited at the Costume Institute of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, highlighting the importance of DVF in the fashion world.
