Sunspel

Philosophy

Sunspel is a British premium t-shirt, polo-shirts and underwear label for men.

Thomas A Hill founded the company in 1860 ispired by the revolutionary idea to make simple, everyday underwear from beautiful fabrics; in 1947 Sunspel was the first firm to introduce boxer shorts to the UK, although the range now includes T-shirts and polo shirts.

The collections are created from luxuriously soft cotton and designed with careful attention to detail, upholding British tradition with the finest craftsmanship in their factory in Long Eaton near Nottingham.

The result is clothing that feels deeply luxurious yet has an understated elegance and sophistication. They are extremely long-lasting, because they refuse to cut corners in manufacturing.

Comfortable and understated, Sunspel's history is a rich and revered one, having been worn by generations of screen stars, musicians, sportsmen, pioneers and movie characters.
