Achilles Ion Gabriel is a unisex quality footwear brand that sets a new direction, providing a contemporary approach to classic shapes with a special, signature style that makes them stand out.
After some job experiences as PR and brand manager, the Finnish-born shoemaker and designer Achilles Ion Gabriel launched his eponymous brand in 2012 with the aim to adeptly reinterpret timeless models such as the Derby, Chelsea, Combat and classic dinner shoes.
The look is elegant with a modern, architectural feeling; all the styles are available in both mens and womens sizes.
Gabriel splits his time between Paris and Menorca, where each pair of shoes is manufactured by hand in close collaboration with a local tanner: each pair of Achilles Ion Gabriel features goldentone detailing and bold fabric choices twinned with artisanal manufacturing and premium leathers, preferring the label shoemaker over designer.
